Computer Engineering BSc student at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, experienced with .NET and software engineering, looking for an 8 week internship, open to opportunities later on.

Experience

Simonyi Károly College for Advanced Studies
Kir-Dev web development group

StartSCH

2024 oct. – present

ASP.NET Core · Entity Framework Core · OpenID Connect

I created and lead the development of a website that collects news and events from the websites of the university and redistributes them to the students.

Partly inspired by the dormitory's servers' recent security breach, the app only stores minimal user data, and sensitive URLs are stored encrypted using keys persisted in the user's calendar app.

All of its code is open-source and on GitHub.

Kir-Dev Kubernetes cluster

2026 jan. – present

Kubernetes · ArgoCD · OpenTelemetry

I created a GitOps-based Kubernetes solution for Kir-Dev, after the complexity of our infrastructure made using a single vCluster unviable.

I researched Kubernetes and its ecosystem, including vCluster, OpenTelemetry, ArgoCD, CloudNativePG and Traefik, then created a vCluster-in-vCluster solution, with all configuration stored in a public Git repository, updated automatically by a Renovate-based bot.

MaterialColorUtilities

78 stars on GitHub · 103.6K total downloads on NuGet

I ported Google's Material You design system helper library to C#/.NET and published it on NuGet.

Found the easiest to work with among alternative implementations, even by someone building with Python for Linux, showcasing the quality of my documentation.

DisHelps mobile app

2020 – 2023

Xamarin.Forms & MvvmCross, later .NET MAUI · ASP.NET Core Web APIs · Entity Framework Core

I started learning programming after joining the DisHelps team.

I took over the project after a while and:

  • migrated the repository, including the Git repository and the wiki from Azure DevOps to GitHub,
  • set up automatic CI/CD using GitHub Actions deploying to the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store,
  • simplified the project structure, and later migrated from Xamarin.Forms to .NET MAUI,
  • continued developing the app,
  • integrated Piranha CMS for managing the knowledge base section of the app.

Managing a larger project let me experiment freely, teaching me how to structure a larger size code base.

Studies

Competitions

Other projects

~/.config

I manage 3 desktop and 2 server computers using NixOS, allowing me to share and store all configuration in a public Git repository.

The reliability of this setup inspired me to design the infrastructure of Kir-Dev, detailed above.

keletikuria.hu

Website for a renovated mansion, built on ASP.NET, EF and Piranha CMS.

blace.alb1.hu

Reddit's r/place game recreated using Blazor WASM and SignalR. Code on GitHub.

menza.alb1.hu

Lunch menu site, optimized for speed and fun. Built with ASP.NET, Blazor and EF. Code on GitHub.

turtle

Lua code running on ComputerCraft robots (turtles) and the WebSocket server that manages them. Code on GitHub.

bottle

Custom Android app for my smart water bottle for syncing data to Health Connect, using Bluetooth Low Energy and Protocol Buffers for communication with the bottle. Code on GitHub.
